Sound Space Design was responsible for the acoustics, including auditorium design, services noise control and sound isolation. Written by composer Jake Heggie and librettist Gene Scheer, performers included Ben Heppner in the lead role and critics from around the world attended the opening, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and numerous others.
